Wild Game Recipe of The Week: Lemon Grilled Trout

Lemon Grilled Trout

Servings: 6-8

Ingredients:

4 trout, cleaned and scaled, about 1 pound each

1/4 cup lemon juice

2 tablespoons dried parsley (or freshly chopped)

1tablespoon Tabasco sauce (or 1/2 teaspoon pepper flakes)

1/2 teaspoon ground dried ginger

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 tablespoons butter, melted

2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions:

Wash and pat dry the fish

Mix the lemon juice, parsley, Tabasco, ginger, salt, and vegetable oil in a large bowl

Add the fish. Marinate, refrigerated for 2 to 8 hours.

Melt the butter with the olive oil and brush the fish and grill with this mixture (or use an oiled fish basket.)

Grill the fish for a few minutes on each side until the fish flakes easily.
